Abstract:
One of a series of spatial databases covering the Australian Capital Territory. This data set contains a library of scanned aerial photos covering some of the urban areas of the ACT as well as areas for specific projects.

ACTMAP datasets are available to non ACT Government agencies and the private sector on a fee basis. Details of costs can be obtained by phoning the contact numbers.
Lineage:
Photos are scanned and warped in GDS to coarsly georeference them to the underlying cadastre. 1995 aerial photography has been used to create a library of stored images. New images are being created from 1997 photograhy.
Positional accuracy:
All data is held in ACT Co-ordinates which are planar co-ordinates based on a false origin at Mt Stromlo of 200000/600000. These co-ordinates can be converted into other formats if required
