Access constraints:
TARDIS is a public record. However, fees are applicable to search or register any transaction on the register. An imaging system is currently being implemented which will provide access to all physical (paper) transactions that are not noted on the Oracle database.
Lineage:
The register was transferred to the ACT in 1924. Data is sourced from documents lodged by legal practitioners/financial institutions, keyed into the system and guaranteed correct by the Registrar-General's after registration.
Positional accuracy:
Positional accuracy is only relevant to data held in plans not held in any Registrar-General's Office system. The legal cadastre is survey accurate.
Attribute accuracy:
All data captured is classified by standard identifiers or keys and can be accessed by those keys. all data is verified and guaranteed correct.
Logical Consistency:
The data is pre-examined for 100% compliance with statutory requirements. The system has edit rules to assist in minimising data errors
Completeness:
Data captured in the system must be 100% complete in terms of prescribed statutory content
